This discussion will be run by average size siblings of a little person. Purpose is discussion of your feelings and to gain support from other people just like you. Page 4
Parent Meeting Come join us for a morning parent meeting to discuss issues you may have in school, at home or in your community. What are some of the challenges your children face? How can you better raise awareness and educate others? How do you answer your children s questions about dwarfism? What is on your mind? We will be holding an hour parent meeting to discuss these issues and other concerns you might have. An open floor discussion to help, share and support. Other workshops to be announced Afternoon DAAA Boccia Are you a sports fanatic that thinks waiting a year in between conventions is way too long until you play LP sports? This will feature Boccia instruction, and games. Dance : Friday and Saturday from 9 pm to 12 am. Kids Room : Ages 3-8 Saturday 8 am to 12 noon Children will enjoy activities monitored by volunteers. Activities include games, toys, and crafts. Please do not leave the Hotel while your child or children are in the Kids Room. The Basement (Tween/Teen Room) : Friday from 7 pm to 11 pm & Saturday from 4 pm to 11 pm Relax and enjoy the weekend in our casual lounge. A space to hang and play a game or two with old and new friends. General Assembly Meeting : Please join us for a General Assembly. Here about what is happening with District 2 and discuss future events. Saturday, 10:30am-11:30am. Alcohol Use Under the Age of 21 : Individuals under the age of 21 who are determined by hotel security, police, or an LPA official to be under the influence of alcohol at an LPA Event may not be allowed to attend another LPA Event until the age 21 and they may be removed from the current Event site.
