November Board Meeting Roll Call:, Marcy Brandt, Sally Jurgensmier, Kevin Krull, Jordan Patterson, Don Phillips, Marcia Davis Meeting called to order 12:20 Minutes from last meeting and Treasurer s report were not approved, as a quorum was not present. Approval of minutes & reports was tabled until the next meeting. Old Business: 2015 Budget Changes were highlighted and explained. 2015 brought some major non-budget items with the addition of Blue Jeans & BBQ and the Century of Lights. For 2016 the budget is higher, but also projected a higher income. Marcia was excused and a pay increase for her was discussed. No official action could be taken, so further discussion was tabled until the next meeting. Membership numbers are up, but we need to connect better with member and find out what is important to them. We will explore doing face-to-face visits in the coming year. Also of concern is how to get information about the Chamber (and events) to the front-line employees in the community. Board Nominations outgoing members are Carolyn Bunger, Amy Fuqua, Kevin Krull & Riley Space. Nominees are Erika Hansen (Big John s Ford), Joelle Knott (Krull Agency), Spencer Isaacson (Runza), and Kevin has agreed to serve a second term. Ballots will go out next week. Nominees will attend the December meeting. Dena Beck has expressed that she does not feel that she is able to attend often enough to be an effective board member. Sally said that she will mention this opening to Kathy Myers. This position could be filled by appointment if it occurs after the election. Century of Lights/Christmas Traditions plans are in full swing. The Century of Lights committee needs more funds. No quorum was present, so there was no approval to move funds to that account. Don moved to dismiss, Marcy seconded. All in favor. Meeting adjourned 1:03 pm.
