SPECIAL NEEDS & YLEO S
Necessary Rule The information provided here has been gathered through books on the science of essential oils and their application and usage on myself, friends and communicants (members of our church), attending courses and working with licensed medical personnel. This is not meant to take the place of licensed practitioners, rather it is for personal use for ourselves and our families. In the event of a problem you are advised to seek professional medical assistance.
Exploratory Study on Autism and Essential Oils Association for the International Research of Aromatic Science and Education provided the essential oils for the study. The protocol, video (date TBA) and Journal Article (date TBA) can be found at the AIRASE Academy (501c4) a Private Licensed Association. By joining AIRASE you support scientific research and education on the use of therapeutic grade essential oils. All members are given the ability to become members of the Academy at no extra charge. Help us help you.
Ideas for Helping Families Essential Oils stand apart from everything else because of their unique properties and safety. They are useful for all special needs. YLEO s are adaptogens. That is a metabolic regulator which increases the ability of an organism to adapt to environmental factors, and to avoid damage from such factors. They are not all universal adaptogens, they can be specific. Innocuous Broad range of therapeutic effects without causing any major side effects. The adaptogen concept does not fit easily into the Western model of medicine.

Why Essential Oils? From the Essential Oil Desk Reference Convention Edition, (5th), European scientists have studied the ability of essential oils to work as natural chelators, binding with heavy metals and petrochemicals and ferrying them out of the body. 2. In the human body, essential oils stimulate the secretion of antibodies, neurotransmitters, endorphins, hormones, and enzymes. 3. Because of their complexity, essential oils do not disturb the body s natural balance or homeostasis.
SUSPECTS February, 2009 Olga Naidenko wrote on epigentics and environmental chemical exposures for the Environmental Working Group. She began the post with the heart of the matter: Prenatal exposures to environmental pollutants may lead to chronic diseases later in life.
SUSPECTS We know now that the developing fetus is exposed to hundreds of industrial pollutants that find their way from the mother's body across the placenta, into the umbilical cord blood and then into the growing body of the child, as demonstrated by the ground-breaking research conducted by EWG. NOVA has a great video explaining epigenetics.
Prenatal Prenatal: The placental barrier between mother and fetus is the leakiest barrier and is a very poor block to chemicals. The placenta is composed of several layers of cells acting as a barrier for the diffusion of substances between the maternal and fetal circulatory systems. Lipid-soluble molecules, however, can cross readily, while the transfer of large-molecular-weight molecules tend not to enter.
Umbilical Cord Of the 287 chemicals we detected in umbilical cord blood, we know that 180 cause cancer in humans or animals, 217 are toxic to the brain and nervous system, and 208 cause birth defects or abnormal development in animal tests. The dangers of pre- or post-natal exposure to this complex mixture of carcinogens, developmental toxins and neurotoxins have never been studied. The Pollution in Newborns Thursday, July 14, 2005 A benchmark investigation of industrial chemicals, pollutants and pesticides in umbilical cord blood
SUSPECTS Perfluoroalkyls Perchlorate has been long established in the medical literature as a potent compound with known capacity to lower thyroid hormone levels. : Adequate thyroid hormone levels are critical for normal brain development in the fetus. Any thyroid hormone deficiency in the mother has repercussions for her fetus.
Sleep allows brain to wash out junk Body & Brain By Tina Hesman Saey Sleep hoses garbage out of the brain, a study of mice finds. Why At Night? The trash, including pieces of proteins that cause Alzheimer s disease, piles up while the rodents are awake. Sleep opens spigots that bathe the brain in fluids and wash away the potentially toxic buildup, researchers report in the Oct. 18 Science. The discovery may reveal why sleep seems mandatory for animals (SN: 10/24/09, p. 16). It may also shed new light on the causes of neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer s and Parkinson s diseases.
CSF and the Brain
Skull Sutures } Areas of the cranium are direct entries into the brain. } As we age the fissure get tighter yet it may be a viable entry for eo s.
Skull Sutures
YLEO s Methods of application that appear to be useful: At night topically on skull sutures and spine. Diffuse whenever possible. Always start very cautiously. One drop is a lot for a child, especially if it s the first time exposed to the potency of a true therapeutic grade essential oil. Keep in mind that living pathogens also strive for life so a battle might show up as symptoms like a rash for instance.
Looking For More Answers More Studies Needed The mother of this 3 year, 9 month old, not in the study. The mother did not want him labeled, hoping before school to reverse his stated vaccine induced autism. Rapid changes in behavior, sleep patterns, speech after a vaccine. Rather than embark on medical methods through western medicine, she choose using essential oils and supplements.
Viral? Mother and child, along with younger unvaccinated sibling visited me. One hour after visiting I noted my parotid glands were swollen. Nonverbal communication between viruses and other pathogens exist. He has a virus, I thought. Over the years whenever exposed to someone with a cold, flu, or any viral problem, my parotid glands would swell in response. The mother used Ravintsara, an essential oil with anti-viral properties. The mother took a pendulum over his spine and then applied the essential oils to the upper thoracic region.
Mother s It has been a full week since we started treating a viral infection in Caleb's central nervous system. And holy heck! Recovery may be here way sooner than I had ever thought possible! His eye contact is usually a 1 or 2 on a 10-scale, but it has consistently been at least a 5. He is answering questions more and more and more. He is expressing emotions!!!! HELLO!! Miracle happening here!!!!!!! And he is telling me what he wants in a more complex way Orange juice (a random request) this morning, "It makes me happy!" And this evening when he didn't want to sleep, it was because he was "Playing blocks" and then "I want to sleep on the couch. Get me a blanket". Not to mention the "Stop singing, mommy. That makes me mad!"
A prayer for the children. These bundles of love, clothed in ill fitting systems, whose souls must be calling to us for help, these innocent of the world. We pray that the Light of God seeps deep within this world so well, that it brings forth all that is needed for your life, for your souls to live fully in your bodies unimpeded by harmful creations. May we all help make a difference in your lives by adding whatever we can do to clean up this planet for you.
Thank You! lightwingcenter.org May your love of life flow through you and into the world with Light filled Love.
