2 About the Conference Cancer is a generic term for a large group of diseases that can affect any part of the body. It is the second leading cause of death, and is projected to increase by 26 million cases along with 17 million annual worldwide deaths by Oncology diseases have immense effect on lives of people and its incidence is showing an increasing trend worldwide, thus becoming a significant public health problem despite advances in understanding of the underlying molecular & cellular events. There are various factors that causes cancer Age and hormonal status, Family history, Genetic predisposition, Life style, Occupation, Adulteration, Use of tobacco & alcohol, Unhealthy diet, physical inactivity, Cancer causing infections like hepatitis, human papilloma virus, H. pylori, parasites, climate and environment. Chances of curing cancer could be increase by its early diagnosis, with scientific advancement and advancements in laboratory technologies as well. Further risk of cancer can be reduced possibly through healthy diet, appropriate use of herbs, organic farming, life style change and management of patients who develop cancer. Modification in cosmeceuticals and topical formulations may reduce the risk of certain types of cancer like melanoma, while other types can be cut short by managing pollution and ecosystem. It is known that one-third or even more of new cases of cancer can be prevented. Regardless of prognosis, the initial diagnosis of cancer is still perceived by many patients as life threatening event and may result into range of other clinical complications like anxiety and depression. This conference would be a great platform for everybody to put forth their ideas, learn and share knowledge with each other and discuss best opportunities in cancer prevention and cure. Important Guidelines for Abstract and Paper Submission : The submission should include : 1. Name of authors, their address or affiliation, & phone numbers should be clearly mentioned. 2. It should be typed in English on A-4 size paper using single space with one inch margin on each side. The text should be typed in 12pt size using Times New Roman Font. 3. Text should be justified on both ends and start with a title followed by Author's details, Abstract, Keywords, main text, Reference and appendices. 4. Title should be descriptive and concise and should not exceed 50 characters. Abstract should not exceed 200 characters. 5. Main text of paper (without the author details) should be concise and total number of pages not exceeding eight including references, appendix, table and figures. 6. References should be cited in the text and should be listed in alphabetical order of the First author's surname. 7. At least one of the authors must be pre-registered for conference FAC CON the M.S.
