1 5A Ho Chun Ting (14) My diary 27 th June, 2014 Sunny Today was our school holiday. I had a lot of fun. It was so unforgettable. In the morning, I woke up very early and I went to the new shopping centre that was very big. I went to a bookshop. There were many different types of books. At that time, I saw my friend, Mary in the exit. I said hi to her and we bought a lot of books such as Beautiful Hong Kong and How to protect our Earth are my favourite books. I loved my books very much because they were written by my favourite writer, Tim Wong. At noon, we went to the Thai Restaurant for our lunch. We ordered pineapple fried rice, beef noodles and fruit punch. They were all very tasty. Mary and I enjoyed eating them very much. In the afternoon, we went to the Hong Kong Supermarket which was clean and big. We chose a lot of fresh mangoes and delicious snacks because Mary and our family liked eating them very much. When we came back home, I made mango juice for my family. They thought it was great! What a wonderful day! (191 words)

I went to the Shing Mun Country Park with my brother and my parents. We went there at twelve o clock in the afternoon. When we arrived at the country park, we saw a lot of people there. It was very crowded, so it was difficult to find a barbecue pit that was available. After half an hour, we found a barbecue pit luckily. We felt delighted. Soon we started our barbecue. My mum prepared food and my dad lit the fire. We had a lot of food, such as meatballs, steak, chicken wings, sausages and corn. After the barbecue, we rode our bicycles, played hide-and-seek and chased the birds in the sky. Dad played his guitar and we sang songs. We were so glad. In the evening, we cleaned the pit and we went home. We had a good time! I hope we can go to the Shing Mun Country Park again soon.
