1 Dr. Kerry Bailey I am from Long Island, New York. I received my BS in biology and my DVM from Cornell University in 1999 and 2003, respectively. After graduating, I completed a rotating internship at Long Island Veterinary Specialists (LIVS). I then stayed on at LIVS to complete a 1-year neurology internship and then began my neurology residency there. I moved up to Cornell University to complete the last two years of my residency. Currently, I work at Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, NJ and had to do a craniotomy on a dog (owned by a human neuroradiologist - yikes!) by myself on my second week! So, obviously private practice is keeping me busy. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband, Dennis (a veterinary oncologist) and our two kitties. I enjoy cooking and baking and have recently taken up photography.

I did my rotating internship at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine from 2004-2005 and remained at Tufts for my residency in neurology/neurosurgery from 2005-2008.

I received a BA from Dartmouth College in 1999 and a DVM from Cornell University in I did my rotating internship at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine from and remained at Tufts for my residency in neurology/neurosurgery from I was fortunate enough to be awarded diplomate status in Neurology in July. Since September, I have been working as one of two neurologists at a private practice referral center (New York City Veterinary Specialists) where I deal mostly with IVDD, seizures, and non-infectious encephalitis. In my spare time, I enjoy movies of all types, walking tours of NYC, traveling and spending time with my 2 dogs and cat.

3 Dr. Jeff Clarke I was born in New Jersey but moved to Florida when I was eight years old and have lived here for the majority of my life. I received a BS and DVM from the University of Florida (GO GATORS!) in 1995 and 2001, respectively, and then did a rotating internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital (New Jersey) from 2001 to I spent three years in general practice before deciding that it wasn t for me and then set my sights on pursuing a residency in neurology. I completed my residency in veterinary neurology/ neurosurgery at North Florida Neurology with Dr. Andrew Hopkins and Dr. John Meeks in Orange Park, Florida in July of I was awarded diplomate status in ACVIM (Neurology) in July as well. Since July of 2008, I have been lucky to continue working as a staff neurologist at the place of my training, North Florida Neurology. My neuro interests include inflammatory/infectious CNS diseases and spinal fixation. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, running, and spending time with my family (wife Sarah, daughter Katie, and son Andrew).

4 Dr. Ed MacKillop I was born and grew up in Sheffield, England but moved to New York State at a young enough age that I lost my English accent. I received a BS and DVM from Cornell University in 2000 and 2004, respectively, and then did a rotating internship at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine from 2004 to I completed my residency in veterinary neurology/neurosurgery at North Carolina State University from 2005 to 2008 and in 2008, I was awarded diplomate status in ACVIM (Neurology). Since August 08, I have been the working as the only neurologist at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center in Pittsburgh PA and have been overwhelmingly happy with private practice. My neuro interests inlcude malformations of the CNS/axial skeleton and anything unusual/esoteric (cysts, vascular anomalies, bizarro tumors, neurodegenerative conditions etc.). I am a self-confessed pedant when it comes to scientific language and terminology (hat's off to you Dr. D) and struggle to keep others on track. In my spare time, I enjoy movies, digital photography, video games (especially first person shooters) and spending time with my wife, Emi, and newborn daughter, Phoebe. I currently have two obese cats but have previously owned a retired racing greyhound and a deaf English bulldog.

Dr. Russell Quigley I was born in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada although I maintain both Canadian and British citizenship due to my mother s birthplace of Folkestone, England.

I received my DVM degree in 2004 from the University of Guelph, and completed a rotating small animal internship at the University in Guelph in I enrolled in a neurology/neurosurgery residency program at the Veterinary Neurological Center in Phoenix, AZ in 2005, and became ACVIM board-certified in Beginning in August 2008, I have been the sole neurologist at Oakland Veterinary Referral Services in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. My neurology interests include fungal diseases of the CNS, based largely on my exposure to intracranial coccidioidomycosis while in Phoenix. Unfortunately, I rarely have coccidioides on my differential list since moving to Michigan. My interests, outside of neurology, include cars, movies, audio and home theater, and spending time with my wife, Kelly and 4 month old daughter Peyton Phoenix. Our animals include Frankie, a 3 year old black Labrador Retriever, and Charlie, a Golden Retriever who is still doing well at 13 years.
