The group, ranging in age from thirty-six to seventy, enjoyed fellowship discussing the most recent Rotary International Convention in Toronto, membership challenges, and the similarities and differences in the Districts. A celebration champagne toast at sunset was given to the DGs Stan Keller and John Padgett for the leadership and inspiration in "Making a Difference" in doing good in their communities and the world! Clubs in the News: Satellite Club of James City County... The Rotary Club and Rotary Satellite Club of James City County recently presented The ARC of Greater Williamsburg a $1,000 donation after volunteering and helping the ARC clients with a financial program, Show Me the Money. The ARC clients, who are developmentally challenged adults, learned about coins and dollars; talked about things they need vs. things they want; identified doing activities that are free vs. those that cost money; priced activities they would like to do. It was a rewarding and FUN evening for all.
4 Richmond Club... The Habitat for Humanity house in the Maymont neighborhood has been completed. The members of the Richmond Club funded and supported with volunteer hours helping with construction. Lawrenceville Club... At a recent meeting, the Lawrenceville Club announced the third of four Scholarship winners. Alex Parrott (with his parents, Jeff and Robin Parrott) accepted his $500 check and plaque. Alex will be attending VCU. Bon Air Club...

Sharon, a bank for Old Point National Bank, is the club's programs chair, booking the club's guest speakers and was responsible for the redesign and distribution of our weekly bulletin.
