5 Micro 10+ All purpose, Aldehyde-free, concentrate for cleaning and disinfection of all instruments, including drills, root canal instruments, forceps, probes, mirrors, surgical instruments, etc. Broad spectrum of activity permits rapid and effective disinfection. Effective against bacteria (including Tb), Fungi and viruses (incl. HIV, HBV and BVDV). Very economical at 2% dilution. Contains powerful corrosion inhibitors, which protect all instruments against rusting. Aldehyde free. CE marked in line with Medical Devices Directive 93\42\CE. Highly concentrated, acidic agent for the dental laboratory to eliminate cements, temporary fillings, tartar, oxides on precious metals, deposits, smoking stains, additive residues, corrosion, etc. Powerful acid based cleaning concentrate designed for simultaneous cleaning and disinfection of laboratory products. Removes acid-soluble cements, tartar, oxidized layers, nicotine stains and temporary dressings. At 10% dilution the concentrate is economical in use, 1 litre makes 10 litres of in use solution. Ideal for use on spatulas, prostheses, bridges. Available in 1 litre container with security safety cap. 15 Dermocol Wash A mild, efficient ph neutral soap for frequent hand washing without irritation even on sensitive skin. It maintains and stabilises the skin s protective acidity. Formula contains no allergy promoting agents. Designed to be used prior to surgical and hygienic hand disinfection. Contains emollients, which protect the skin from the drying effect of water. 19 Recommended Hand Washing/ Disinfection Technique. 1 When washing hands apply quantity of product to wet hands. When disinfecting hands apply recommended quantity to dry hands. Hands are the primary vector for transmission of microorganisms, with almost three quarters of all infectious agents being spread via contaminated hands. The skin of the hands itself is sensitive and is easily susceptible to drying and cracking. Dry cracked areas of skin present an ideal entry point for micro-organisms to penetrate into the human body resulting in infection. 2 3 Palm to palm. In order to maintain the skin in a healthy condition and to prevent any possible cross contamination via the hands it is essential that all health care workers follow a recommended protocol for hand washing and disinfection. The following two diagrams have been designed to demonstrate the recommended hand washing and disinfection procedures that should be followed at all times. 21 Vacucid Non foaming, total care for dental suction systems, simultaneous disinfection, deodorisation, cleaning and care of all dental suction systems. Vacucid dissolves solid debris, eliminates cleaning or changing of the trap. Daily application dissolves solids and keeps suction lines cleaned, disinfected and free from biofilm build up. Vacucid has been designed to clean, disinfect and deodorise dental suction systems. Foam free formulation causes no damage to the system. Contains no aldehydes, phenols or chlorine. 22 Unident Impre Unident Impre is a formaldehyde-free concentrate which has been especially created for cleaning and disinfection of dental impressions, impression moulds, dentures, prosthetic devices etc. Alginate, silicone, polyether rubber, polysulphide and hydrocolloid dental impressions can be reliably disinfected and cleaned with Unident Impre without impairment of dimensional stability. Ideal for use on all impression materials, moulds and prosthetic devices. Effective against a broad spectrum of micro-organisms including bacteria (Tb), fungi and viruses (incl. HIV and HBV). Unident Impre is used as a 10% solution for immersion disinfection and is active in just 10 minutes. All constituent elements are totally biodegradeble in standard water supply.
