1 ZENTRUM FÜR NEUROSENSORIK (ZfN) Joint Curriculum of the ZfN Members < Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck > < University Eye Hospital > < Institute for Ophthalmic Research > COURSE STRUCTURE The program for doctoral and postdoctoral students comprises 4 semesters (I to IV), each consisting of 3 consecutive modules ((1) to (3)). At the end of each semester, on completing all 3 mandatory modules, a certificate is being issued (requirement: attendance of at least 80%). The following modules are offered during summer term 2016: (1) Lecture Sensory Systems Basics and Principles II (2) Progress Reports Progress in Neuroscience Research of the Retina and the Inner Ear (3) Compulsory attendance of an Optional Course the third module can be freely chosen from a list of existing courses/lectures/seminars offered at the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck, the University Eye Hospital or the Institute for Ophthalmic Research. 1
