48 Insertion Tool Protocols Iplant Placeent for TRI-NEX & TRI-MAX Iplants Pick-up and placeent procedure 1. The tool I-HLH is used to pick up the iplant fro the packaging. 2. The diples of the tool and lobes of the iplant should line up. This allows alignent of a lobe buccally. 3. The hexagon ust be fully engaged before torque is applied to the iplant, to prevent any daage. The hexagon is fully engaged when the straight portion of the hexagon tool is alost copletely sunken in the iplant (fig.1). 4. The iplant is placed in the prepared site and screwed in with a otor unit at rp while applying downwards pressure. fig.1 Diple Instructions for inserting the Insertion Tool for the TRI-NEX TM Co-Axis Iplant 1. Identify the two diples on the iplant platfor. This side lines up with one of the lobes (fig.1). 2. Identify the diples on the insertion tool (fig.2). 3. Line up the diples on the insertion tool with the diples on the iplant platfor (fig.3). To reove the insertion tool fro the iplant, pull the insertion tool in the direction perpendicular to restorative platfor and parallel to prosthetic axis (fig.1). 2.
