Regardless of whether the crown-down or single-length technique is preferred: Entran allows for delicate, safe and reliable work. 37 The new ozone generator by W&H Ozone is a highly effective disinfectant. Its gaseous form means that it reaches places that conventional fluoride solutions cannot. Therefore it considerably reduces the risk of infections occurring again. What is more, it can be used in almost all application areas. Prozone, the new ozone generator from W&H, produces the gas mixture via corona discharge. In this process, air is pumped into the device, dried by a special filter, purified and then transferred to a chamber, where it is converted into an oxygen-ozone mixture via silent electrical discharge. This mixture arrives at the area that needs disinfecting via the handpiece and special disposable tips. Prozone generates the optimum amount of ozone required for the disinfection. It is therefore impossible to overdose.
