3 SPEAKERS GERAINT BUSE Which Scanner Is Right For Your Practice Dr Geraint Buse is the principal dentist at Marquess Dental, Anglesey. Geraint graduated from Liverpool in 2005 with a distinction in restorative dentistry. In 2010, Geraint successfully completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dental Practice at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. He opened Marquess Dental in January 2011 and is a Full-Member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and member of the ITI (International Team for Implantology). Dr Shadrooh is also known as the Singing Dentist, who works to promote oral health in an entertaining way. Adam will be discussing and highlighting how the laboratory can make the clinician's job easier, quicker, more predictable and time effective. LEANNE WHEELER Your Lab And What They Can Do For You Leanne Wheeler qualified as a dental technician at vision ceramics in 2009 from Cardiff met University and currently doing her MSc in dental Technology. Leanne is accredited to use the new Solvay denture material which has recently come to the CAD/CAM market. CAD/CAM and prosthetics: a changing lab industry Vision Dental Ceramics became accredited in October 2017 to offer the new Solvay 360 frameworks to clinicians and patients. This exciting new material is designed then milled entirely in house and offers a metal free solution to framework design. In this presentation design concepts of this will be discussed along with how our roles in the laboratory are changing due to cad cam software and, as with all members of the dental team, how we all can learn and progress together to offer our patients these new and exciting types of prosthesis in an ever changing world of CAD/CAM technology.

6 SPEAKERS DANIEL WORICKER Integrated Smile Design Dr Daniel Woricker qualified from Newcastle University in After qualifying Dan worked in the nearby city of Sunderland at a highly respected practice where he gained large amounts of experience and knowledge in all aspects of dentistry. Dan continued to work as an associate in Sunderland for two more years before moving to Bath in Integrated Smile Design Dan will be giving a presentation on how delegates can use Integrated Smile Design to improve patient communication and treatment uptake. He will demonstrate all the necessary processes in creating an integrated smile design for both restorative and orthodontic treatment enabling the practitioner to create before and after simulations of treatment. using powerpoint/keynote to produce a treatment plan implement the process in practice using it to increase the uptake of complex treatment plans

7 SPEAKERS ADAM NULTY - PATRIK ZACHRISSON - CHRIS LEFKADITIS Adam Nulty - Adam is a highly experienced clinician with a special interest in Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry and Implantology. Adam lectures and Mentors on the Restorative and Aesthetics MSc for Manchester Uni, the BAIRD Implant Course and is Course Director and Lecturer for the SMOP Gudied Implant System with Osstem UK. Respected lecturer and mentor in the Field of 3D radiology, implant planning and template guided implant placement, Adam also runs a CBCT course with 360 Visualise. Patrik Zachrisson - Patrik is a partner of The Wensleydale Dental Practice (Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire) and the Wensleydale Dental laboratory. Patrik is a Member of the British Dental Association, the ITI, the BACD and Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) and is Treasurer for the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Local Dental Committee. Chris Lefkaditis - Chris Lefkaditis is the principal of a private practice in Norwich. He qualified as a BSC Dental scientist in His vast experience in digital dentistry includes Cadcam dentistry and computer guided implantology. Having furthered his education in advanced implant dentistry and functional occlusion, he has taken on the role of mentoring dentists with an interest in implant dentistry. He is approved as a mentor by both the Association of Dental Implantology UK and the ITI. The Digital Workflow in the Dental Practice. Adam Nulty, Patrik Zachrisson and Chris Lefkaditis will be discussing the use of digital support for planning and performing restorative, implant and orthodontics in practice. The three lecturers from the Digital Dental Academy will be discussing the workflow from inception of the patient s treatment plan with digital photography and smile design. Chris will give the audience an insight into restoring an implant chairside with CEREC software and give an overview of the materials available. Adam will discuss the alternative CAD design software and guided surgery software available and Patrik will show that digital technologies can also provide orthodontic clinicians an aid for planning for a predictable outcome and retention options.
