2 Working together The ITI and SAAAD have come together to bring you a conference specifically designed around the dental team. From, general prac??oner, to orthodon?sts, prosthodon?sts and to periodon?sts. We will show how working together will achieve the ul?mate in aesthe?c results. Over the two days, delegates will have the opportunity to learn from local and interna?onal speakers. Each addressing the key role their specialty can play in diagnosis, treatment planning and the best implementa?on. 3 Speakers include: Dr Sjoerd Smeekens Dr Sjoerd Smeekens is the ideal speaker to lead our interdisciplinary program. He is one of very few dentists to have achieved board certi(ication as a Reconstructive Dentist by the Swiss Society of Reconstructive Dentistry (SSRD) and is a registered Prosthodontist with the German Society of prosthodontics. Dr Smeekens runs a unique interdisciplinary clinic in the Netherlands where he also teaches a comprehensive interdisciplinary program at The Institute for Reconstructive Dentistry. Dr Smeekens is a world leader in interdisciplinary treatment planning and reconstructive dentistry, making him the leader in an interdisciplinary program. Dr Tim Joda Dr. Joda works as Research Associate and Program Director of Postgraduate Education at the Department of Reconstructive Dentistry & Gerodontology at the University of Bern/ Switzerland. He is the Head of the Section for Digital Reconstructive Technology + Implant Dentistry. Dr. Joda is triple-trained and Board Certi(ied as Specialist in Prosthodontics, Implant Dentistry, and Periodontology. He has gained a MSc Degree in Prosthetic Dentistry & Biomaterials as well as a PhD Degree in Reconstructive Dentistry & Implant Therapy. His main clinical interests are (ixed implant treatment protocols. Dr. Joda initiated numerous projects in the (ield of clinical and translational research related to digital dental technologies and optimization of implant work(lows.
