4 About the system The system of dental implants MeDENT Implant Systems was designed and tested both for single-step and two-step surgical procedures Indications and assignment A wide range of dental implants, supra structures and the systems of connection in the implants system MeDent Implant Systems allow to use them in any clinical situation when using different types of implantation, two and one-step method of implantation. Implant system MeDent Implant Systems includes dental implants with the diameter from 3,3 mm to 6 mm and the length from 6 mm to 16 mm. 7 Implants surface The surface of the implants MeDent Toifix is obtained by bead-blasting treatment by particles of titanium dioxide. As the result of the air-abrasive treatment of the implant (Grade 5) by particles of titanium dioxide (TiO2) size of 25 microns, the surface relief of moderate roughness is formed with the Sa parameter equal to 1.10 microns (Wennerberg, Albrektsson, 2000). This method of the surface modification leads to the formation of topology with a high degree of homogeneity of the relief. The high efficiency of this method is proved by studies that show a higher level of bone-implant contacts and the degree of bone tissue regeneration in the defects area, compared with machined implants.
