We thank all the participants of for trusting us and contributing to a global platform where important aspects of diabetes research were discussed. The conference was marked with the attendance of young and brilliant researchers, business delegates and talented student communities representing more than 30 countries, who have driven this event into the path of success. The summit inaugurated on November 02, 2017 in the Baltimore, USA by the Organizing Committee chairmen; Dr. Sayon Roy and Dr. Sudhakar Yakkanti. The three day summit was divided into different sessions of keynote, oral and poster presentations which brought together an interdisciplinary group of professionals working on Diabetes. Dr. Stanley S. Schwartz, University of Pennsylvania, USA delivered the first keynote lecture of on A unifying pathophysiologic approach to the complications of diabetes in the context of the beta-cell classification of diabetes. Dr. Schwartz discussed about a proposal for a new, beta-cell centric classification of diabetes based on a consilience of genetic, metabolic, and clinical research. It was then followed by keynote lecture of Dr. Sayon Roy on Vascular complications in diabetic retinopathy in which he spoke about the diabetesrelated retinal diseases. Dr. Mark B. Zimering from Veterans Affairs New Jersey Healthcare System, USA presented on Agonist G-protein coupled receptor autoantibodies and diabetic neurovascular complications. Dr. Deborah R. Gustafson, State University of New York, USA gave the keynote lecture on Adiposity and cognitive impairments and dementias. Post lunch, day one continued with a session on Diabetes and Obesity and Diabetes Care and Support which was well appreciated by all the participants of the conference. The day ended by the poster presentation session with presenters from across the globe. Day 2 started with the keynote of Dr. Mark Woodward, University of Oxford, UK on Prediction of 10-year vascular risk in patients with diabetes: the AD-ON risk score. Dr. Pavel Hamet from University of Montreal Hospital Research Centre-CRCHUM, Canada delivered a keynote on Diabetes complications in ADVANCE and ADVANCE-ON and their genetic determinants.

5 Highlights Dr. Terez Shea Donohue, University of Maryland School of Medicine, MD, USA and Dr. Robert J. Tanenberg, East Carolina University, NC, USA gave the keynote on Novel therapeutic targets for type 2 diabetes and Inpatient diabetes management respectively. The second day hosted a series of interesting talks in different sessions on " Type 2 Diabetes: Basic and Clinical Research" and "Diabetes Management: Awareness, Support, Therapy, and Technology & Biomarkers and Therapeutics" Last day of the summit mainly focused on Diabetic Complications, Epidemiology, Public Health and Case Studies, Diabetes and Cancer. Throughout the course of this three-day event, the attendees got an exclusive opportunity to network and are involved in inspiring and interesting discussions of scientists and researchers on Diabetes. The conference provided exciting opportunity to showcase the modern technologies, the new products in the field of Diabetes and the service of the industry to the global audience.
