4 PM2.5 start with For PM10 and PM2.5 every member state must take care that the regulations take place latest beginning with the 1st of January Each member state has to take care that starting with the deadline of the 1st of January 2009 the minimum PM2.5 measuring points are installed and the values are reported to the European Union. There has to be installed one PM2.5 measuring point for every million people in metropolitan areas and at least one measuring point in cities with more than people. The general role however is for two PM- 10 also min 1 x PM-2.5.
