3 Welcome Dear Colleagues, It is with pleasure that we announce the 2 nd Barts Aortovascular Symposium. This will take place in the Great Hall at St Bartholomew s Hospital in London on the 16th of September The aim of Barts Aortovascular Symposium 2017 is to discuss the frontiers of aortovascular disease. In particular, innovation, education and intervention. We will consider planning, performance and the outcome of interventions in aortovascular disease and surgery. This year we have invited an exceptional faculty, both national and international, to discuss and share their thoughts with you. We look forward to welcoming you to this exciting annual meeting at the Barts Heart Centre in this great city of London. We hope you will come to London, actively participate in this interactive environment and enjoy your stay.
