Most paint & resin manufacturers use ALS for their product, and frequently ALS is combined with UV Absorber (UVA) to achieve better performance. 2,2,6,6-Tetramethylpiperidine (CAS : ) Our supplier, okoku Oil, is one of the purified castor oil manufacturers in Japan, and okoku produce ALS from Sebacic Acid. Most competitors, like BASF / ADEKA produce UVA as well, but okoku does not. This is because all of okoku s product needs to be from Castor Oil derivatives, which includes Sebacic Acid, and UVA cannot be produced as Castor Oil derivatives.
