2 As of July 1, 2006: 44.3 million Hispanics lived in U.S. (14.8% of total population) IN OREGON: Latinos comprised more than 10% of total population

3 Currently in Oregon Latinos make up more than 25 percent of the population in Morrow, Malheur, and Hood River counties.

4 Latinos constitute: 14.7 % (77,000) of Washington County 10.5 % (73,390) of Multnomah County 22 % (68,230) of Marion County

5 Estimation by 2020: Hispanics will comprise 28% of school age children in Oregon
