3 The advancement of sexual health of the public, in particular but not exclusively in Darlington and Tees Valley 1] Deliver training on sexual health & relationship issues to provide knowledge and skills to young people & adult workers in Darlington and Tees Valley. Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit) 2] Following training, invite young people to take an active role the delivery of awareness sessions on sexual health issues to other young people and adults. The advancement of sexual health of people living in Commonwealth countries, in particular but not exclusively, by providing support to communities and organisations within the Commonwealth. 1] Organise and fund two-way visits between young people living in Darlington and Tees Valley and partner youth groups in southern African commonwealth countries. 2] During visits hold seminars and group sessions to build relationships and educate young people in issues around sexual health and lifestyle choices. 3] Facilitate young people to make longer, independent visits to work with partner groups. 4 Section D Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year Achievements and performance 1. In February/March 2013 a group of young people & youth workers visited Swaziland for 21 days. While there they worked closely with the young people of Good Shepherd High School Health Club to formalise our partnership, find out what they would like to develop that we can help with & jointly deliver sessions in the school, other local schools & with community groups. The trip was funded through fundraising events & a grant of 40% of the travel from the Commonwealth Youth Exchange. We are currently raising funds to pay for a return visit to the UK by the youth group of GSHS. 2. Over 2013 RAID-TV has held five sexual health awareness sessions giving information & signposting to specialist agencies. The sessions were in a variety of venues :- Durham University 2 schools in Darlington 2 Community events 3. Developing lesson materials. Members of RAID developed session material to use in Swaziland. 4. Website: We are currently experiencing a problem with our website due to the young person who developed it for us moving address and not being contactable to renew the website host fee. If this can t be resolved we will need to pay new development costs. TAR 4 April 2009

RAID-TV raises funds through grant aid for specific projects & volunteer fund raising activities. The trip to Swaziland was funded through a grant from the Commonwealth Youth Exchange (40% of travel costs), events & personal fundraising by participants.
