As the author of six best selling Cook Books, the host of two TV shows on the Food Network and mother of seven children Sandi Richard is inspired to share her passion for healthy families to women across Canada. 3 EVENT OVERVIEW Welcome to THERE S A MEAL TO MY MADNESS: Restoring Faith and Sanity in the Kitchen with Sandi Richard. The event will have a theme of food and cooking but the event is really about healthy families and the value that bringing families back to the dinner table has on communication, relationships, physical health and faith. As a Christian, Sandi feels inspired by God to encourage the church and beyond with a practical message of health that will have you evaluating your priorities and making positive change for you and your family for years to come. The event will combine a time of interaction, fun, teaching and testimony that will empower women with practical tools for healthy living. Each women attending will also leave knowing the love of God and how his love has transformed Sandi life and given her passion and purpose. 4 BIOGRAPHY Sandi Richard is considered by many to be North America s leading meal planning expert. A busy mom of seven who worked full-time, Sandi found herself reaching for the chicken fingers and takeout menus during the week, and felt like a failure because she wasn t providing healthier home-cooked meals. 7 HOST CHURCH RESPONSIBILITIES Your Church Sanctuary and Foyer for the day of the event Access and Amenities Requirements: The team will arrive in the early afternoon between 1 and 3 pm and will require access to the auditorium and foyer from the time of arrival until they leave around 10:30 pm. Please have the stage area cleared prior to the arrival of the in order to allow for a timely event set-up. Important: On the day of the event, someone who has knowledge and access to the following facilities must be present: All outside and main inside access doors Main Auditorium AVL control area (5:30PM - 10:30 PM) - Require sound person from the church Table and chair storage area Lighting and environmental controls. Audio / Visual Technical Requirements: Use of audio, video and lighting systems as required. Access to all power outlets on the staging area. Note: We will have one of our technical staff connect in advance with a member of your technical team by phone. Marketing Support To engage the women in your church to not only attend the event but invite their friends and family. To utilize the resources provide to share the vision and passion of the event including playing the promotional video on Sunday morning. To utilize the churches many forms of communications, website, Facebook, bulletins etc... to share about the event To provide 8 to 10 volunteers on the night of the event from 6:00 PM to assist with tickets sales, merchandise, ushering etc plus a sound person from 5:30 PM five responsibilities

8 FURTHER INFORMATION Partnerships Sandi will have a few ministry partners traveling with her on the tour that support the event through a variety of channels and will have a table in the foyer with her.
