24 Fire Safety Education Each day over 3,000 individuals suffer a burn injury throughout the world. So many of these individuals become burn victims do not have the finances and medical insurance pay for and receive the needed medical treatment in order to recover. Within the USA an individual who suffers a burn injury on 80% of the body still has a great chance of living if they receive medical treatment in time. In a many countries around the world, the majority of individuals who suffer a burn injury that covers 50% or more of their body will not be treated and will not survive the burn injury. BSTTW travels to these countries and offers medical treatment and medications to help as many individuals as possible. BSTTW offers fire safety educational materials in over 15 different languages to help lower the number of fire, injuries, deaths and property damage. tml In 2011 BSTTW is planning on releasing the BSTTW Fire Safety Educational Materials ebook in over 16 languages that can be used in the USA, Mexico and other parts of the world.
