2 LAURA JOHNSON, LSW Program Coordinator I, Center on Violence Against Women & Children Managed a program evaluation of a seminar on domestic violence screening for medical providers funded by Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital s Community Health Promotion Program for Dr. Sarah McMahon (PI) for the project cycle. Coordinated an exploratory project looking at the service needs of domestically trafficked adolescents in New Jersey funded by the New Jersey Department of Children and Families for Drs. Judy L. Postmus (PI) & Cassandra Simmel (Co-PI) during fiscal year Program Coordinator II, Center on Violence Against Women & Children Managed the daily operations of the Center. Responsibilities included the supervision of undergraduate and graduate students, scheduling, the coordination of special events, and the fiscal management of accounts. Assisted with various research projects, including the fiscal management of budgets and incentives, data collection, data entry and basic data analysis, maintaining relationships with funders and collaborating agencies, and the submission of reports to funders and the Institutional Review Board Research Assistant, Center on Violence Against Women & Children Conducted literature searches and summarized articles on violence against women and children Criminal Case Control Unit Assistant Union County Prosecutor s Office, Elizabeth, NJ Maintained the CrimeNtel Database utilized by law enforcement agencies in Union County. 3 LAURA JOHNSON, LSW Sexual Assault Unit Paid Intern Union County Prosecutor s Office, Elizabeth, NJ Aided assistant prosecutors in all phases of criminal investigations from initial victim complaint through sentencing and accompanied attorneys and detectives to meet with victims and witnesses for trial preparation Sexual Violence Hotline Volunteer Break the Silence Sexual Violence Hotline, Bethlehem, PA Received 30 hours of training on issues including sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, and harassment and aided in the monitoring of a 24-hour a day, seven days a week hotline.
