THE SPORTING LIFE 10K A TORONTO INSTITUTION! Since 2000, the Sporting Life 10k (#SL10K) has been a Toronto staple.

To date, over $15 million has been raised to help send kids with and affected by childhood cancer to Ooch.

2 THE SPORTING LIFE 10K A TORONTO INSTITUTION! Since 2000, the Sporting Life 10k (#SL10K) has been a Toronto staple. Each year, over 25,000 people run down Yonge Street to help raise critical funds for Camp Oochigeas (Ooch). To date, over $15 million has been raised to help send kids with and affected by childhood cancer to Ooch. The #SL10K Toronto is Canada s premier running event that delivers a value-packed running experience and contributes the largest net proceeds to charity. The #SL10K has made it possible for community members to make a big impact on the lives of children with and affected by childhood cancer. In 2017, we expect over 25,000 people will participate creating an excellent forum for organizations to showcase their philanthropic, community and corporate social responsibility commitments SL10K EVENT DETAILS: Sunday, May 14 at 7:30am Start Line: 2400 Yonge St, Toronto (at Roselawn Ave) Finish Line: Fort York Blvd & Fleet St Post-Race Party Location: Coronation Park HELLO FINISH LINE!

Ooch is the only overnight oncology camp in Ontario to offer onsite IV chemotherapy and blood transfusions providing access to campers on active treatment the friendship and fun of Camp.

Five hundred Camp Ooch volunteers partner with staff to deliver 15,000 experiences year- round to over 1,500 children with and affected by childhood cancer and their families.

3 GIVING KIDS WITH CANCER WHAT THEY NEED - THE CHANCE TO BE KIDS! Camp Ooch is a one-of-a-kind summer camp and year-round social support system for kids with and affected by childhood cancer and their families. Ooch offers programs at our overnight camp in Muskoka, at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), various other paediatric cancer centres in Ontario and at Ooch Downtown, our urban recreational facility in the heart of Toronto to more than 1,500 kids and their families annually. Ooch is the only overnight oncology camp in Ontario to offer onsite IV chemotherapy and blood transfusions providing access to campers on active treatment the friendship and fun of Camp. Ooch lets kids with cancer focus on who they are instead of what they have. As one camper points out, Mom says the doctors cured my cancer and Ooch healed my soul. As Camp Ooch increases the scope and number of programs offered, Ooch relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and the community to ensure the Magic of Ooch is provided at no cost to our families in all three of our programming areas. 4 RUN FOR FREE & SEND KIDS TO CAMP OOCH! Raise funds to send a kid affected by childhood cancer to Camp Ooch for at least one day and have the opportunity to Run for Free. By raising a minimum of $250 online by 5pm EST on May 14, 2017, you are eligible to have your race registration fee reimbursed.* *The registration reimbursement does not include HST or processing fees. *All reimbursements are issued by September 30, 2017 OPTING OUT OF YOUR REIMBURSEMENT SENDING MORE KIDS WITH CANCER TO CAMP OOCH Camp Ooch incurs the cost of your registration as our way of saying thank you for your commitment to raising critical funds for children with and affected by childhood cancer. By opting out of receiving a refund, you will receive a gift-in-kind donation tax receipt and make a meaningful difference in the life of a child. HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY REIMBURSEMENT? Instructions on how to receive your reimbursement will be ed to the address you provided when you signed up to fundraise. BIRTHDAYS/SPECIAL OCCASIONS Encourage friends and family to donate to your #SL10k fundraising efforts in lieu of giving gifts. HOST A DINNER PARTY Host a dinner party for friends and family and ask for a donation in return. At your dinner party, explain what you re doing and why you run for Camp Ooch and kids with and affected by cancer! SPARE CHANGE JAR Set up a jar in a communal area where people can contribute their loose change. You will be surprised how quickly the dollars will add up! Remember to include a note about why you run for Camp Ooch. FRIENDS, FAMILY & COWORKERS Reach out to your friends, family and co-workers to support your run for Camp Ooch and kids with and affected by cancer. Remember to include a link to your giving page and share why you run for Ooch. WE RUN FOR OOCH! USE YOUR TALENTS AND SELL Whether it s making bracelets or cookies, think of a hobby or interest and turn it into a product that can be sold. CORPORATE MATCHING GIFTS Matching gifts from your place of employment can often double, triple or quadruple your team s fundraising, helping send even more kids to Camp Ooch.

9 Thanks for giving me a place to laugh and be silly! People outside can be really cruel but at Ooch it s a safe place, a place I love to be! Thanks for letting me be myself. I forget about cancer when I m at Camp because there are so many other things to do! Ooch is a really incredible place, everyone here has a connection that words can t describe. It s my home-away-from home.
