Role: PI UC Davis site. 1R01 MH A1 (Hinton) 7/01/07-6/30/11 Reducing Disparities in Depression Care for Ethnically Diverse Older Men This project addresses the gender gap in depression care by focusing on older men in primary care settings, including older men from ethnic minority groups. The project will use in-depth

11 Aguilar-Gaxiola/Curriculum Vitae Page 11 qualitative interviews with these older men and their primary care physicians and conjoint analysis interviews with older men to systematically assess their depression care preferences. The data generated from this study will be used to develop a theoretical model and intervention strategies. Role: Co-Investigator (Carter) 04/01/ /31/2011 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation $441,623 National Demonstration of Early Detection, Intervention and Prevention in Psychosis in Adolescents and Young Adults This was a multi-center project to evaluate the effectiveness of a comprehensive early detection and intervention program on the relevance and severity of psychotic symptoms in individuals with first episode psychosis and clinical high risk individuals. Role: Co-Investigator.
