2 Lent 20:20:20-20 mornings, 20 evenings, 20 minutes. These will be held in Ellon Parish Church Instead of giving something up for Lent, why not take something up for Lent? Join us for Lent 20:20:20. Beginning on Wed 10th February and running for the 40 days of Lent we will meet for 20 mornings (10 th Feb 3 rd Mar) at 7am for a light breakfast (Coffee, Tea, BuNeries etc) and then have a 20 minute reflecqon to start the day. ASer that we'll meet for 20 evenings (4 th Mar 26 th Mar) at 9:30pm for tea, coffee, home bakes before a 20 minute reflecqon to end the day instead. No need to sign up, just come and spend Qme with God and each other. Sundays not included as we will be worshipping at the normal Bmes

4 Cardboard Café is coming soon! The resources are growing, the focus group have fed back, the budget is there, parents in the Community are asking WHEN? That s where we need you. We need more volunteers to assist in running this new venture. The plan is to have a team of 3 volunteers working alongside myself each Friday Morning. 5 The ministry team would like people to be on duty no more that 1 out of 4 Fridays to do this we need a larger pool of volunteers than those who have already agreed. The café runs from 9.30am 11.30am, with setting up at 9am. Even if you could give us 1 hour once a month that would be great. The volunteers roles would be supervise play/crafts, helping the little ones with drinks, telling stories (from books) chatting to parents. 20 SAFEGUARDING TRAINING It has come to our attention that those people who have joined the PVG Scheme over the last year, require to undergo an introductory course with regard to Safeguarding. I have arranged for this training to be held on Saturday 19 th March within the Kirk Centre, Ellon, with the Introductory Course being run in the morning and a course for Safeguarding Coordinators in the afternoon. Teas and coffees will be provided for a small donation.

21 It is important that you let Mrs Edith Walker who is the other Safeguarding Co-ordinator within Ellon Parish Church know if you will be able to attend this course as the Church of Scotland have made this course mandatory.
