3 Dear colleagues and friends, We are honored to invite you and welcome you with great pleasure to the 15 th International Congress of the Association of Gynecologists and Obstetricians of Serbia, Montenegro and Republic of Srpska (UGOSCGRS). Congress will be held in Belgrade on December 7-9 th, 2017, under the patronage of the Ministry of health of the Republic Serbia and Serbian Academy of Science and Art. Congress organization is also supported by the School of Medicine, University of Belgrade. Congress is a result of the joint activities of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Section of the Serbian Medical Society, Association of Gynecologists and Obstetricians of Montenegro and Association of Gynecologists and Obstetricians of Republic of Srpska. Since our 18 th International Symposium held in Bečići (Montenegro) last year, we have engaged significant professional, scientific and organizing capacities with aim to maintain continuity of successful meetings and to confirm reputation of the UGOSCGRS as leading, respectful, regionally and internationally recognized society, whose fundamental dedication is to continuously and intensively work on keeping and improving gynecology and obstetrics as profession. During three days, the Congress will host 90 invited lecturers, not only from the Association s member countries, but also from the region, Europe and other continents. The Congress Program includes over 20 sessions, free communications, video presentations, round tables and commercial symposia which will analyze crucial questions in gynecology and reproductive medicine in Keynote Sessions by the prestigious international experts such as Prof. Gian Carlo Di Renzo, Prof. Joseph Schenker, Prof. Giuseppe Benagiano, Prof. Jacky Nizard, Prof. Wolfgang Holzgreve, but also by the most respectful national and regional experts, academicians and researchers. Congress attendees will have the opportunity to hear about relevant recommendations in gynecological oncology, fertility sparing surgery, modalities of biological and immunological therapy, perinatal medicine, assisted reproductive technologies, urogynecology, and laparoscopic surgery. We are truly thankful to numerous institutions and companies without whom it would not be possible to organize this Congress and who recognized its unique professional, scientific, educational and social significance for our profession. In respect of 15 th International Congress of the UGOSCGRS as a meeting in which speakers, organizers and participants have invested great knowledge, work and effort, we believe that it will result in significant contribution and stimulus for further research and development, as for the clinical practice.
