STRUCTURE & FIRST ACTIONS France first concrete actions to launch the CBI In Vienna, with the IAEA : Three working meetings already held A Referee from the Nuclear Energy Department was appointed by the IAEA A Description Paper is being drafted. Several actions are launched by France, in the scope of the CBI CEA (Jules Horowitz Reactor) applied to be designated as an ICERR ; France proposes to assist other countries with ICERR procedures; France acts for the creation of a World Nuclear Capacity Building Inventory - France is preparing, with the IAEA, to host a Technical Meeting dedicated to Human Resource Development by the end of MAI 2015 French Side event 7th May 2015 PAGE 13

FIRST ACTIONS AND EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS A possible timeline for the CBI implementation with all willing Member States From March till September 2015 : Call for offers Call for needs Till the end of 2015 : Drafting of the CBI description Paper; Identifying National Reference Contacts for World Nuclear Capacity Building Inventory From September till December 2015 Analysing and organizing the needs and the offer as given by Member States with the IAEA January/February 2016 : defining the goals and the agenda for 2016 March 2016 : beginning of the CBI Informal group action, in the scope of MAY 2015 French Side event 7 th May 2015 PAGE 14

15 As a possible conclusion, the CBI is to promote nuclear HRD for all member states, and to implicate all member states for enhancing nuclear HRD. The aim is not to necessarily do more but to do it better. 6 MAI 2015 French Side event 7 th May 2015 PAGE 15
