2 LUNA DM (Anionic Detergent & Wetting Agent) Appearance : Pale Yellow to Amber Coloured Viscous Liquid Chemical Nature : Anionic Detergent ph 10% Aqueous Solution : 7.0 to 8.0 Stability : Stable to dilute Acids and weak Solutions of Sodium Chloride. Shelf life : Minimum 2 years when kept in shade at room temperature. LUNA-DM is an anionic bio degradable detergent & wetting agent. Any detergent/wetting agent being a surfactant has versatile application and as such LUNA-DM is able to perform several functions in the processing of leather. SOAKING 1 to 1.5% on raw weight is recommended. Use of LUNA-DM in soaking aids the removal of dirt and other unwanted material and accelerates the soaking process. BATING % of LUNA DM during bating and subsequent dry drumming results in quicker removal of scud, thereby saving time, power and labour. DEGREASING Pickled sheep skins of particular origin which have more natural fat can be effectively degreased by using LUNA-DM. It enhances the degreasing effect of LUNASOL PA. LUNA-DM Drymill the pickled skin with LUNA-DM % and Lunasol P.A. 1% for minutes. Repeat salt washings and proceed with next operation. LUNA-DM can also be used with advantage in dyeing, fatliquoring and finishing operations to get better results by improving the wettability and dispersing the fatliquor

LUWET NS is a new generation wetting agent and it is free from a) Nonyl Phenols (NP) b) Nonyl Phenol Ethoxylates (NPE) c) Alkyl Phenol Ethoxylates (APE) LUWET NS is a non-ionic detergent cum wetting agent. Being a surfactant of high HLB value, it wets the substrate fast and can be used at all stages of Leather Procesing i.e., Raw to Finish. According to the process step its detergent, wetting and emulsifying action is taken advantage of. 0.5% to 1.5% on appropriate weights is recommended from Soaking through Fatliquoring.
