It is a considered a medium-high performance herd (ME 305 ave was lbs (10 977Kg) for cows in trial) with minimum health issues The trial was supervised by a local veterinarian: Antoni Margenat (Veterinaris Vilubí) Blood samples were collected, processed, and later sent to the University of Barcelona: Biochemical Department of Veterinary College for calcium analysis
