5 FACULTY INFORMATION NICHOLAS BECK, M.D. Dr. Nicholas Beck is an orthopedic surgeon with a main focus on hand, wrist and upper extremity. He went to medical school at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Beck completed his fellowship at the University of Iowa, Hand Surgery Fellowship and his residency at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis in Orthopedic Surgery. CARLO BELLABARBA, M.D. Dr. Carlo Bellabarba is a University of Washington School of Medicine professor in the departments of Orthopaedics and Neurological Surgery, and is currently the Chief of Orthopaedics at Harborview Medical Center. Dr. Bellabarba earned his undergraduate biochemistry degree and medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Following residency at Rush University in Chicago and two fellowships at Northwestern University in Chicago and Tampa General Hospital, he joined the faculty at the University of Washington School of Medicine where he has served since His clinical interests include surgical treatment of the full range and complexity of spine conditions throughout the spine, including spine trauma; degenerative spine conditions; spine deformity; spine infections; and spine tumors. He has published approximately 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, given over 500 lectures and scientific presentations nationally and internationally, and has mentored over 80 spine and orthopaedic trauma fellows. Dr. Roger Bentley is an orthopedic surgeon at Ortho Montana in Billings. Receiving his medical degree from University of Arizona College of Medicine, he completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and his fellowship at Southern California Orthopedic Institute. Dr. Bentley s main focus is sports medicine. ROGER BENTLEY, M.D.

6 FACULTY INFORMATION NICK DIGIOVINE, M.D. Dr. Nick DiGiovine grew up in Western Pennsylvania. A multi-sport athlete in high school, he went on the University of Notre Dame from which he graduated Magna Cum Laude in He received his Medical Degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his orthopedic surgical training at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. DiGiovine completed an Orthopedic Sports Medicine fellowship at the Kerlan-Jobe Clinic in Los Angles in Prior to moving to Montana in 1996, he served as a team physician for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He currently serves as the medical director for the Montana Sports Medicine Program and is active in community activities and events. He can often be found on the sidelines at Montana Tech, Butte High, and Butte Central football games. MICHAEL GALLAGHER, M.D. Dr. Michael Gallagher is an Anaconda native and a graduate of Anaconda High School where he was a multi-sport athlete and scholar. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Carroll College in 1986 and went to medical school at the University Of Chicago Pritzker School Of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic training at the University of Missouri in Kansas City in Dr. Gallagher completed an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia in 1996 and is one of few fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeons in Montana. He is the team physician for the Anaconda Copperheads and can often be seen on the sidelines at football games. THOMAS HIGGINS, M.D. Dr. Thomas Higgins holds the Richard L. Stimson Presidential Endowed Chair in Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Professor and Chief of Orthopaedic Trauma at the University of Utah. His medical degree was completed at Brown University School of Medicine. His orthopaedic training was at Yale University, with post-graduate fellowship in orthopaedic trauma at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He has been on the faculty at University of Utah since Dr. Higgins clinical expertise is in the treatment of complex intra-articular injuries, pelvic and acetabular trauma, and musculoskeletal care in the setting of polytrauma. His elective practice focuses on the deformity correction, malunions, and nonunions.

7 FACULTY INFORMATION CHRIS HIROSI, M.D. Dr. Chris Hirosi is an orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon with the Saint Alphonsus Coughlin Foot & Ankle Clinic who treats orthopedic injuries to the lower extremities and the foot and ankle. Conditions treated and services provided include, ankle and foot injuries, ankle arthritis, ankle joint replacement and ankle fusion, foot and ankle arthroscopy, complex foot and ankle reconstruction after prior failed surgeries and many others. Dr. Hirose got his medical degree from University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his fellowship at Texas Orthopedic Hospital. Dr. Hirose s care philosophy is I strive to provide the very highest care for my patients, utilizing both conservative and operative interventions. Dr. Donald Kucharzyk is an orthopedic surgeon in Crown Point, Indiana. He received his medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Dr. Kucharzyk accepts several types of health insurance, listed below. He is one of 5 doctors at Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Point and one of 2 at Pinnacle Hospital who specialize in Orthopedic Surgery. DONALD KUCHARZYK, M.D. KYLE LYBRAND, M.D. Dr. Kyle Lybrand is an orthopedic surgeon with a main focus on orthopedic trauma. She went to medical school at University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry. Dr. Lybrand completed her fellowship at Reno Orthopedic Clinic and her residency at Boston University Medical Center in Orthopedic Surgery.

8 FACULTY INFORMATION ALBERT OLSZEWSKI, M.D. Dr. Albert Olszewski is a Montana State Senator for the 6th district. He received his medical degree from The University of Washington, Seattle. Dr. Olszewski specializes in all aspects of knee surgery, including minimally invasive joint replacement, computer aided surgery and arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Olszewski is also skilled in treating sports injuries including anterior cruciate ligament repair, posterior cruciate ligament repair, and meniscal surgery. ROBERT TAMURIAN, M.D. Dr. Robert Tamurianis a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in complex limb reconstruction and orthopedic oncology. He provides surgical treatment to patients who have a range of orthopedic injuries or conditions. Dr. Tamurian has special interest and expertise in minimally invasive total joint replacements, tissue sparing joint reconstruction, joint replacement revision, orthopedic oncology and general orthopedic conditions. Dr. Tamurian received his medical degree from State University of New York and completed his fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
