5 Ramzi Souki, M.D. Page 5 of 5 Explanation of Time Gaps: 06/ /2006 Travel to the USA to commence my residency training in Pediatrics at SUNY Upstate University was delayed due to a state of war in Lebanon which precluded obtaining a visa stamp or air travel. I remained in Beriut, Lebanon during this period until siege was lifted and was able to travel to Syracuse, NY and start my residency. 07/ /2012 After completing my fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the Children s Hospital of Pittsburgh I travelled back to Lebanon to get married. I remained there during this period while I awaited my visa paperwork in order to travel back to the USA and commence with my fellowship in advanced cardiac imaging at Washington University/Saint Louis Children s Hospital.
