I have written reports in all aspects of Acquired Brain injury, cerebral palsy and prosthetics. I am a high calibre individual with a track record of achieving clinical and academic excellence in this specialty. Apart form excellent generic rehab skills, I am considered an expert in brain injury care and complex spasticity, setting up and turning round a department and delivering high quality patient care. Currently I lead a neurorehabilitation service with in and outpatients, specialised rehabilitation including prosthetics and seating and several specialised clinics. We have created the Acute Brain Injury Team, a new service, unique in the UK for Head Injury and I have special interests in head injury, prosthetics, complex spasticity, mood disorders

3 after brain injury and pain management. I have a strong academic interest with considerable research experience and teaching and I am studying part time for an MD. At present I sit on the Education Committee of the British Society of Rehabilitation Medicine, am the UK representative on the European Board of Medical Specialists and am the UK National Training Programme Director for Rehabilitation Medicine. I am also on the Executive Committee of the International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics.
