3 INVITATION It is pleasure for me to invite you to the fourth interdisciplinary musculoskeletal ultrasound course that takes place in Vienna. Main focus in this course is sports injuries and imaging of peripheral nerves and lesions in context with clinical findings and soq Jssue tumors. In addijon, rheumajc diseases, overuse syndromes, and acute musculoskeletal lesions will be discussed and ultrasound training will be performed on pajents. This interdisciplinary musculoskletal ultrasound course is aimed at radiologists and clinicians wanjng to improve ultrasound into their clinical pracjce. Our learning objecjves are the physics of ultrasound ESSR guidelines for ultrasound examinajon clinical aspects and indicajons for ultrasound specific pathologies and typical imaging pacerns intensive training in hands- on workshops on pajents live demonstrajon pathologic correlajons of cadaver joints with ultrasound and MRI findings The faculty includes najonally and internajonally known Consultants in Radiology, Physical Medicine, Orthopedics, and Rheumatology with extensive experience in the pracjce and teaching. Using a combinajon of lectures and hands- on workshops (basic to advanced), this course will teach the essenjals of musculoskeletal radiology, and gives you the confidence to pracjce.
