3 Aim of the course The purpose of this hands-on workshop is to present and transfer the key anatomical knowledge and surgical skills to young surgeons and residents, necessary for contemporary surgical treatment of colorectal cancer. Main topics Surgical anatomy of colon Surgical anatomy of rectum Surgical technical aspects of approach, dissection and reconstruction of cancer in colon and rectum highlighting the oncological approach Educational Methods Hands on workshops with human cadavers Video based discussions (including 3D videos) Plenary lectures Ideal participants Young surgeons or surgical trainees (between 25 and 40 years old) interested in developing a specific knowledge in colorectal cancer surgery. 4 Registration Participation is limited to 24 participants. Registration fee is 750 for ESSO members and 900 for nonmembers. The fee includes the course registration, catering and a social dinner.
