Working to streamline referral for patients to place them in the correct medical service upon initial presentation. Acute Low Back Pain Program (FEB 2008 to JUN 2013) Co-developed an Acute Low Back Pain Program based primarily on the validated Clinical Prediction Rule regarding the use of thrust manipulation in acute low back pain. This involved program development and education of over 150 referring physicians on the referral process and related research. It also involved training the 80 orthopedic physical therapists in the related research, thrust manipulation theory and technique as well as data collection and processing. To date over 800 patients have been directly referred to the program at 12 different outpatient clinics. Transitional DPT development team (FEB 2007 JUN 2008) Lead a team in developing a program to increase company tuition reimbursement for employees seeking a t-dpt. Our company agreed to sponsor 10 physical therapists the first year (2008) and 5 the second year (2009).
