Introduction In life, confronting obstacles and solving problems can be a painful process that most of us try to avoid. In fact, the more we postpone and avoid this confrontation, it can result in greater pain and an inability to learn and grow mentally and emotionally. What makes life difficult is the process of confronting and overcoming obstacles. The problems, depending on their nature, can evoke in us Negative emotions such as sadness, anger, fear, anxiety, despair, among others. These (negative) emotions are often uncomfortable and are there to "protect" our Self. And it is because of what obstacles and problems cause in us that we perceive them as obstacles. However, I believe that is in the process of facing obstacles and solving problems that life has meaning. What often happens is that we delay this process and by doing so we "turn mirrors against the wall," therefore we do not see reality for what is, instead we see reality for what we would like it to be. We go around obstacles, find easy solutions, and shorten paths for immediate results. We choose to travel paths we already know and that lead us to the same. This is a process that aims to "protect" a mental structure, (self), repeating behaviors, confirming what we believe we know, increased the certainty that we are knowledgeable of our 'I' (Self). We limit ourselves to that comfort zone and sometimes these emotions / negative thoughts moves us away from reality and prevent us to grow, learn and live fully. The truth and reality are avoided sometimes when they cause suffering.

We can to understand our mental structure, 'SELF', restructure our mental maps, with discipline to overcome this pain. To have this discipline, it is important to dedicate ourselves fully to the truth. We may want to see the truth, as best as we can, to be more important, more vital to the interests of the Self, than our comfort. The Mental and Emotional health is a process without an end, of dedication to reality. That's why I decided to create the project YOU R SELF. The You R self picture was created by me and it represents my own self discovery and transformation. It has horses in all of them. Each one represents a different stage of my self-transformation. I do love horses and it has been through the partnership with them that I have come to all that I am, to my true self. What? (Concept) The You R self Project: Was planned and built to implement an Educational Program (non-formal), The Reality Code - The Road Less Travelled, for different age groups in order to access and understand our mental structures (self), so we realize and develop techniques to deal realistically when faced with obstacles, through cooperation in solving problems, fostering development and the mental and emotional growth. Consists in a construction-transformation of obstacles/ structures, to be used in Show jumping horse competitions.

An obstacle, is an object, action or situation that causes an interruption, forms a barrier, and creates a difficulty, a nuisance or an inconvenience to achieve concrete goals. A structure, simple set of elements linked together in order to withstand forces or to support the weight of the material in order to properly perform its function. You R self, is a project to encourage people in the training, development, creation (opening) of conscience and "mental transformation" for a better life. The project has an artistic character and reap inspiration in my transformation process while Human Being alive. The 'You R self' project is a unique opportunity for people to learn, through the construction of physical structures, the dynamic processes and functions of your mental structure. This project wants the constructions to be used in riding competitions, in the form of jumping obstacles, joining children, youth, adults, seniors from various institutions, organizations, from a national and international level, to enable the sharing and networking. This project aims to contribute to the search for real solutions to global problems, inspiring and motivating the mental, emotional transformation, through workshops, coaching, training, conferences with relevant persons, companies, etc. The idea is also that, by building obstacles/ structures, it raises awareness of some real relevant Universal themes, such as Education, Inequality, Human Rights,

Unemployment, Sustainability, topics related to "Emotions", "Dreams". And to show that for the construction of a physical structure, we call upon to an internal structure "Self" which is the reference where we decode, process, interpret and transform the reality that "comes" through our senses. An opportunity for people from different social contexts, so they can make known their institution, organization, Foundation, School / College, Company, promoting the respect for cultural exchange, and encouraging their interest to turn ideas into reality, to develop a spirit of initiative, willingness to make a difference, bringing to the world their vision of global and local problems, inspiring more people to participate actively in the Life for Wellness. Innovative Aspects: Theme relevance; Emotional Education, knowledge and understanding of the 'SELF'. Acquisition of internal resources, mental and emotional for Wellness. The methodology used; The consortium and established partnerships; Created from and to all people; Offers a wide variety of techniques and training; Possibility of learning based on cooperation; Expansion of the view of reality through knowledge and practices for selfknowledge; To share, develop and perform actions in the area of emotional intelligence, thoughts management for a healthy life is a reality that many are unaware. Who does not know, does not know or is not informed, does not participate fully in life and

is easily manipulated and led by the SELF. Who does not know does not have freedom of choice. To know is important to learn discipline, and want this will for commitment, responsibility, and dedication to truth, to reality. How? In the action plan of this project, it is contemplated the construction of structures with materials (ex., Recycled), which supports the obstacle. The physical structure that will be built represents our Self, a mental structure that we use as reference when you interpret reality. The themes for the construction of structures will be varied. In this structure are our mental maps, which we believe, values, thoughts, and emotions. It is in our Self that we get information when we encounter obstacles, real, unreal and we base ourselves when we make decisions. Is also part of the You R self project action plan, the reconstruction / transformation of obstacles that are in disuse or 'oldies'. These obstacles will be acquired by private institutions, individual rider s facilities or competition sites that want to see their obstacle (s) transformed. With the Program The Code Reality - The road less traveled, people who participate in this project will have access to coaching, techniques, methods, workshops, training, among others. This program aims to share through cooperation between people, with themselves and with others to achieve goals (individual and collective) and grow mentally and

emotionally and so learn to restructure their SELF to face and overcome obstacles by understanding and freeing their selves. The structures made under the Project will be used in show jumping horse competitions and other artistic aspects. The project self You R has the support of the FEP (Portuguese Equestrian Federation), represented in national competitions. In future the project aims to have the support of the FEI (International Equestrian Federation), Equestrian centers, foundations, associations, and other partners, in order to have show jumping competitions, national and international: "You self R Event / Competition". The present project goal is to raise awareness to human beings all around the world for mental health, emotional, and physical well-being through a wide range of activities, promoting gatherings and discussions, workshops, self-awareness, training, included in The program The Reality Code - The Road Less Travelled - promoting healthy living, learning through confronting obstacles and solving problems. This is an opportunity for people to develop and improve the knowledge of the 'Self', deepen self-knowledge, acquire and develop skills / psychological skills that can help to choose and decide freely and consciously.
