I co-chaired the NIH Workshop on Coronary Heart Disease in Women and chaired the 1992 NHLBI Conference on Cardiovascular Health and Disease in Women. I have had a longstanding interest in geriatric cardiology, am Past-President of the Society of Geriatric Cardiology and was Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Geriatric Cardiology for more than 15 years. I also have expertise in cardiac rehabilitation.
