1 Estates & Technology Transformation Fund (ETTF) David Cox Head of Strategic Development CWHH CCGs
2 Year 1 Primary Care Infrastructure Fund (PCIF /16) Years 2, 3 and 4 Primary Care Transformation Fund (PCTF /17, 17/18 and 18/19) re-named to ETTF by NHS E in May 2
3 ETTF (formerly PCTF) Funds 1bn over four years to improve access and the range of services available in primary care Done through investment in premises, technology, the workforce and support for working at scale across practices. Deployed to improve estates and accelerate digital and technological developments in general practice Subject to an initial bidding process. Recommendations to NHS England to support the funding of improvements or developments in practices in CCG area 3
4 The recommendations will need to demonstrate that they meet one or more of the criteria set out below: increased capacity for primary care services out of hospital; commitment to a wider range of services as set out in your commissioning intentions to reduce unplanned admissions to hospital; improving seven day access to effective care; increased training capacity.
5 In addition to the NHSE criteria additional criteria have been identified by the CCG, as well as an affordability assessment.
