Conducted literature searches and subsequently created study metrics for evaluating degree of socialization. Developed a cognitive health coaching module for older adults geared at increasing socialization by incorporating new technology (Skype and webcams) into older adult participants homes. Coordinated a cardiac and brain MRI study on the relations between heart and brain aging among older adults with mild cognitive impairment. Assisted a COPD study investigating genetic and environmental risk factors influencing COPD exacerbations.
