5 Page 5 FUNDING Current K08 HL NIH/NHLBI Churpek (PI) 1/1/14 12/31/18 Career Development Award The aims of this grant proposal are to develop and validate prediction models to detect inhospital cardiac arrest and then to perform simulation studies to determine the optimal method for implementation of the model in order to plan for future clinical trials. Role: Principal Investigator ATS Foundation Churpek (PI) 1/15/16 1/14/17 Recognition Award for Early Career Investigators The aims of this grant proposal are to compare methods of identifying high-risk patients with sepsis on the wards, and to determine which interventions are most likely to benefit these patients using data from a single center.
