3 COURSE OBJECTIVES Upon completion of this meeting, all attendees should be better able to: n Discuss ways to avoid and /or manage spinal surgery complications. n Describe the rationale and relative merits of various MIS and open surgical techniques for managing lumbar and cervical degenerative, adult deformity, trauma and tumor cases. n Discuss how the results of recent research into global spinal alignment can be applied in spine surgery cases to achieve better outcomes.
