IAN BURRIS, AGE 26, OF HUDSON, N.H. was arrested and charged with: Possession of a Class A Substance (Heroin) with intent to distribute Possession of a Class E Substance (Alpraxolam) Possession of a Class E Substance (Busiprone) Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm without a License
2 Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device without a License Unlawful Possession of Ammunition Unlawfully Carrying a Dangerous Weapon (Double Edged Knife) Unlawfully Carrying a Dangerous Weapon (Switchblade Knife) [Two Counts] Unlawfully Carrying a Dangerous Weapon (Metallic Knuckles) On Thursday, Oct. 26 at 10:09 p.m., officers on patrol responded to the Alltown Mobil on Westford Road for an investigation. Upon arrival, officers found a red Toyota Corolla with front end damage parked off to the side of the gas station building. The driver, later identified as BURRIS was in a semi-conscious state. Ian Burris, Age 26, of Hudson, N.H. faces a long list of charges from the Tyngsborough Police Department for allegedly carrying heroin with intent to distribute and carrying a loaded firearm illegally. (Courtesy Photo) Officers observed, in plain view, a glass water bong with white residue, in the center console. BURRIS was unable to follow basic commands to shut off the vehicle and exit. the
3 vehicle. Officers soon noticed a large metallic object tucked into BURRIS S waistband. A frisk was performed, and a loaded black firearm and black knife were found on BURRIS. BURRIS was taken into custody. A subsequent search of the car unveiled a backpack containing glassine baggies, cash, brass knuckles, a switch blade, and a double edge knife. Officers also found a digital scale, pills, and a brown powder substance. The Toyota was impounded as a drug car. BURRIS was evaluated at the scene, while it is believed he was under the influence of drugs, he did not require emergency medical treatment. He was later conscious and alert after booking at the police station. BURRIS was held pending his arraignment at Lowell District Court. PITLER, AGE 38, OF BLACKSTONE was arrested after an investigation by Blackstone Police working in conjunction with the regional Blackstone Valley Drug Task Force. He was charged with: Possession of a Class B Substance (Fentanyl) with Intent to Distribute Possession of a Class B Substance (Fentanyl) with Intent
5 to Distribute as a Repeat (Subsequent) Offender Possession of a Class B Substance (Cocaine) with Intent to Distribute Possession of a Class B Substance (Cocaine) Early Monday morning, detectives executed a search warrant on PITLER S home on Michelle Lane. The search resulted in the seizure of 6.4 grams of cocaine and a quantity of another substance, believed to be fentanyl. Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid many times more powerful than heroin and is responsible for many of the lives lost to overdose during the nationwide opioid addiction epidemic that has been sweeping the country for several years. I am grateful for the hard work done by our Blackstone police officers and regional partners which resulted today in the removal of an alleged drug dealer from our community, Chief Atstupenas said. The possible presence of fentanyl raises the level of urgency, as this substance is responsible for so much devastation. PITLER was held by the Blackstone Police Department pending arraignment in Uxbridge District Court. These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty. ###

8 OF ARLINGTON were arrested. These arrests send a clear message that we take our responsibility to seek out and arrest drug dealers and traffickers very seriously, said Arlington Police Captain Richard Flynn. The hard work and dedication of our Arlington Police detectives ensured that a significant quantity of dangerous drugs has been seized, and two people who profit from human suffering have been arrested. Our department s work in rooting out the supply of drugs while helping those suffering from substance use disorders seek treatment will continue. The Arlington Police Department on Friday evening were conducting surveillance in a commercial parking lot on Massachusetts Avenue, looking for GOOD, the primary target of the investigation. Earlier, police had secured an arrest warrant for GOOD after an investigation that indicated he allegedly was engaged in the trafficking and distribution of cocaine. Officers observed GOOD riding in the passenger seat of a vehicle that arrived in the parking lot, and officers approached. Another man, later identified as WEAVER was in the passenger seat, and a female was in the back seat. The officers announced that they had an arrest warrant for GOOD and asked him to step out of the vehicle. An investigation ensued, and police found a nearly 20 grams of marijuana, cash, scales, and cocaine. In total, grams of cocaine were seized from GOOD. GOOD was charged with: Trafficking in a Class B Substance (Cocaine, two counts) WEAVER was charged with: Possession of a Class D Substance with Intent to
9 Distribute GOOD is being held without bail pending arraignment Monday in Cambridge District Court. WEAVER is being held on $5,000 bail and will be arraigned Monday as well. These are allegations. (Courtesy Photo) ANDOVER Chief Patrick Keefe reports that the Andover Police Department arrested an armed man over the weekend who was allegedly dealing drugs out of a hotel room where he was staying with two children. As a result of an investigation, CHAY JOMAR GONZALEZ-MENDEZ, AGE 26, OF LAWRENCE was arrested and charged with: Trafficking in Heroin Over 100 Grams Possession of a Firearm Used in a Felony Possession of Firearm without a License Unsecured Firearm Wanton or Reckless Behavior to a Child Receiving Stolen Property Over $250 On Saturday, March 18, Andover Police Detectives in the Substance Abuse Unit, along with assistance from Tewksbury Police Detectives, conducted an investigation into reports of narcotics sales on River Road in Andover. Based on information received by detectives over the course of their investigation, it was determined that an individual, later identified as GONZALEZ-MENDEZ, was allegedly selling heroin in the area. The investigation determined that GONZALEZ-MENDEZ was running his operation out of a hotel room in that area. Andover Detectives were able to secure a search warrant for the hotel room where GONZALEZ-MENDEZ was staying with several other individuals. During the investigation, detectives learned that the other occupants were juveniles,
11 ages 14 and 17. While executing the search warrant, detectives found a loaded Glock semi-automatic handgun, more than 100 grams of heroin and $1,000 cash. A check on the gun determined that it had been stolen from Manchester, N.H. in This is a great example of teamwork between law enforcement agencies and street-level detective work that was executed in a methodical and professional manner, ultimately removing a dangerous drug dealer from our community, Chief Keefe said. GONZALEZ-MENDEZ was held pending his arraignment Monday in Lawrence District Court. These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty. ###
