2 6 INTRVENOUS INFUSION & TRNSFUSION SETS range of administration sets developed to facilitate the safe delivery of sterile fluids into the body via an intravenous cannula. These systems are all gravity fed with flexible drip chambers and luer lock connections. 3 77 Extension sets Extension lines are a safe and convenient way to extend existing or newly placed intravenous lines. They are made of kink-resistant tubing and are available with wide or narrow bore connections, in a variety of priming volumes and lengths. Narrow bore extension sets Narrow bore extension sets are ideal where low priming volumes are required. They are supplied with high transparency PV tubing available in two lengths. These sets are suitable for a maximum pressure of 1 bar. The rotating luer lock connectors are S EN 1707 compliant. Their flexible wings help with insertion/securing and the silconised stainless steel cannula aids insertion. The large diameter of the thin-walled needle permits a greater flow of fluids.
