2 Welcome Letter Dear Colleagues, On behalf of the Scientific Committee of MITERA Hospital, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the Conference on Update on Obstetrics & Gynecology, which will be organized at our hospital with the kind participation of distinguished faculty members from the University of Florida College of Medicine Jacksonville (USA). The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine Jacksonville has a tradition of visiting hospitals and academic centers in other countries. Through these visits, its faculty members aim to give talks, discuss interesting cases and, in general, interact with Obstetricians and Gynecologists from all over the world, as a means to exchange experience and, eventually, promote the daily practice in our field. In this context, their visit to MITERA Hospital will take place on April 17th, 19th and 20th. During these days, our American colleagues will cover a wide spectrum of interesting topics in Obstetrics and Gynecology in three separate sessions, which will be held at Louros Auditorium. I strongly feel that this conference will be a valuable opportunity for all Obstetrician and Gynecologists to expand their knowledge on the basis of the most recent scientific data and guidelines.
