2 Dear colleagues, It gives us great pleasure to invite you to this workshop on diagnostic and operative temporomandibular joint arthroscopic surgery in Vienna in Rolf Ewers Arthroscopic application of lasers, arthroscopic repositioning techniques for disc displacement, or the intraarticular use of shavers - techniques such as these have expanded the indications for minimally invasive temporomandibular joint surgery step by step within the last decade. The goals of this course are to provide basic knowledge and to give an overview over the full spectrum of stateof-the-art techniques as well. We offer interactive lectures, video demonstrations of surgical procedures and a handson workshop, teaching basic and advanced arthroscopic surgical techniques on fresh cadaveric specimens. 6 General Information Who should attend This course is designed for those surgical specialists beginning their careers in temporomandibular joint arthroscopy, as well as those experienced in arthroscopic surgical techniques who wish to continue to refine their diagnostic and surgical abilities. Please indicate, if you want to participate in the basic or in the advanced hands-on-workshop. You may choose only one of the workshops! Official language English will be the official language of the meeting. No simultaneous translation will be provided. Limited attendance The fees are based on two attendees per specimen (one joint for each participant). As the number of fresh cadaveric specimens is limited, attendees will be selected on a first registered, first accepted basis.
