2 Dear colleagues, It is a great pleasure to invite you to the 5th Munich Kraepelin Symposium on Thursday October 20, 2016 at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Medical Center of the University of Munich. The symposium was initiated in 1997 by Hans-Jürgen Möller in order to acknowledge the scientific and clinical excellence of Emil Kraepelin, chairman of the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy from 1904 to The current 5th symposium is dedicated to the topic of recovery in psychoses. We will make an attempt to reappraise the concept of recovery, discuss its molecular underpinnings and define current options to improve recovery in severe mental disorders, e.g. psychoses. We are looking forward to welcoming you in Munich to the 5th Munich Kraepelin Symposium.
