4 How Does Odorox Air Technology Work? Hydroxyls (HO ) are naturally occurring molecules created in our atmosphere resulting from the sun s ultraviolet rays reacting with water vapor in the air. However, hydroxyls do not occur indoors, therefore a patented process was created. Through years of field testing, an innovative solution was developed to mimic Mother Nature by safely generating seek and destroy molecules designed to eradicate bacteria, viruses, mold, odors, and chemical VOCs. Hydroxyls actually neutralize odor molecules and gasses by breaking down their chemical bonds. ODOROX Hydroxyl Generators replicate this natural process: The Odorox system utilizes patented technologies that for the first time, harness multiple UV light wavelength ranges.
