1 TRAINER SPOTLIGHT: AMERICAN COUNCIL ON EXERCISE CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER CORBIN BAROCAS Corbin has been personal training for the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis for 2 years. He has expertise with a broad range of individuals and customizes programs specific to individual need. I enjoy working with clients who are looking to improve their athletic performance, increase muscle mass, or endurance. My philosophy on exercise is one based on a balanced body rooted in functional movement. A balanced body is a body less prone to injury, and optimal to performance of everything from daily living, to elite athletic performance. 2 TRAINER SPOTLIGHT: KALEB LYNCH Kaleb is ACSM Certified and a former track sprinter from ISU. As a trainer I emphasize teaching my clientele in a manner that allows them to train themselves both at home, and at the gym. It is my belief that success is greatly aided by both gym and home activity. It is also my belief that the best way to motivate others to exercise is to provide them with positive feedback, encourage positive thinking, and to set attainable goals. 3 TRAINER SPOTLIGHT: DUSTIN ROLLER NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SPORTS MEDICINE CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER After breaking both of his legs in 2013, Dustin faced hours of physical therapy and exercise to recover. A testament of fitness and hard work, Dustin now inspires others. Dustin s favorite thing about being a personal trainer is having the ability to help people of all ages reach any fitness goal(s) they set for themselves. From experience, the journey to health and fitness is not easy, but hard work and perseverance pay off, we just have to be willing to put the time in. 4 TRAINER SPOTLIGHT: HANNAH GLACKMAN ATHLETICS & FITNESS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER Hannah graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelors of Science. She is certified through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America and has been teaching group fitness classes for over two years. In school, she participated in gymnastics, soccer, and tennis. She now enjoys staying active with strength training, running, and teaching group exercise. Hannah has a passion for fitness that she wants to share with others in order to help and inspire her clients to live a healthy lifestyle. 5 TRAINER SPOTLIGHT: MELISSA PRESSLER Melissa holds a Bachelor s degree with a focus in Kinesiology; Personal Training and Fitness Management and a Minor in Health Education. Melissa loves to help people reach their fitness goals and live healthy, happier lives adding regular exercise and healthy eating choices into their daily routines. As competitive triathlete herself, Melissa has had several seasons of coaching triathletes and is happy to help individualize fitness plans for you! Melissa wants to help you begin your fitness journey today! 6 TRAINER SPOTLIGHT: ANN KAMINSKI AMERICAN COLLEGE OF SPORTS MEIDICNE CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER Ann believes that exercise is medicine in mind, body, and spirit. Ann s path to Personal Training began at the renowned Cooper Institute in Dallas, TX where she helped clients identify gross motor skills and special functional needs through testing and research. This, paired with her PT certification and Muscle Activation Technique training has allowed her to create a program based on core strength, joint flexibility, and muscle imbalances. My goal is to help individuals move and feel better and introduce themselves to a body they can trust. 7 TRAINER SPOTLIGHT: JAMES POPE Basketball and track started James on his "fitness journey." James' passion for health and fitness stems from wanting to one day be the dad that can still go out and play ball with his kids when he is 50 years old. James is excited for the opportunity to start helping people begin, and maintain, their "health and fitness journey," and to be the motivation they need to stay on the path to a healthier life. She has run 6 halfmarathons, countless other races and has trained individuals for long distance runs. Health and fitness is a priority for her life, not only for herself, but for her family.
