1 SeniorS March 2011 Chat Prez says: Spring is almost here we have a report from Patty Fitzgerald that she saw robins in her yard in mid-january. So pretty soon we will be able to get involved in some warm-weather activities such as this fearless 87-year-old lady up in a hot-air balloon. Peggie Parson s daughter gave her the balloon ride for Christmas. Peggie will tell us all about it at one of our potlucks. She was scheduled to speak at our March gathering, but had a weather-related accident just recently, so we may need to postpone the presentation to another time. Here is a picture of Peggie enjoying the view from the hot-air balloon, looking towards the Pacific Ocean.
